The York News-Times is the website for a small newspaper in York, Nebraska–with a population of around 8,000 people, and a print-circulation of around 5,000. Amazingly, after the redesign, their traffic jumped from around 10,000 monthly unique visitors to an average of 40,000-50,000 unique visitors.The design for the York News-Times included an indepth study on what the current users were wanting from a newspaper website, as well as a plan to attract new users.
